Ambient Light
noun
Ambient light is natural light (Sun, Moon, etc.) or pre-existing light in a location before any additional lighting is added. Ambient light is typically soft, that exists around the subject of the scene.
Example: An ambiant light would be perfect on this shot.

Animation
noun
Animation is a type of filmmaking in which individual drawings of inanimate, static objects are filmed one frame at a time. This creates the illusion of movement.
Example: Toy Story is an animation movie.

Blooper
noun
An embarrassing mistake.
Example: This is a blooper!

Box office
noun
The office where tickets of admission are sold.
Example: This movie will break the box office record.

Epilogue
noun
A short, concluding scene in a film in which characters (sometimes older) reflect on the preceding events.
Example: Im really sad about the epilogue of this movie.

Mass media
noun
Newspapers, television, radio etc that communicate news and information to large numbers of people.
Example: In our society, mass media take a more important place everyday.

Outtake
noun
A scene that is filmed but is not used in the final editing of the film.
Example: We will not put this scene in the movie. It's an outtake.

Premiere
noun
The very first showcasing of a film at a theatre.
Example: I've been waiting so long for the Premiere.

Rehearsal
noun
It is a practice of a play or a drama done many times before the final performance.
Example: We have a reharsal for the play coming up next month.

Sci-Fi
noun
A genre with stories set in the future or in outer space.
Example: Have you seen that sci-fi film Interstellar yet?
